I love my Birthday. I have always loved it. I love the parties and the presents and a whole day all about me. I know, that sounds vain. I am just being honest. When I was younger I liked the idea of getting older. Even though I am a so over wanting to get older I am not over loving the celebration. I try to stretch it out as long as I can. On the day of my birthday I decided it was time to go and buy me a purse. I had some money on a Nordsrom's card from my last purse that broke. With this money and a little extra for my birthday I got an awesome purse. Mindy and Shalynn came to help me pick it out. I am no good at picking out anything by myself. They also "secretly" bought me a wallet to go with my new purse. So nice. That night my family came over and Scott picked up Thai food for all of us. Yum yum, my favorite. Scott also got me a cake shaped like a panda. Why you might ask? Does a panda have any special meaning to me? No, not really. The lady Scott got to make my cake has a variety to choose from. One of these was a panda. Scott thought it was cute. So I got a very cute and delicious panda cake. It was a great birthday filled with good food and great company. This was not the end of the celebrating. On monday some of my girlfriends (Mindy, Shalynn, Kim, Jalene, Tiffany and Jessica) all came over and we ate Cafe Rio. They all gave me the "surprise" wallet that Mindy had picked up on my Birthday. My friend Haylie couldn't make it on Monday so we had a second party at her house on Tuesday with Mindy, Shalynn and Haylie. I am spoiled. Especially because they got me Thai food again. Thanks to all of you that partied with me. Maybe next year we can have the party and skip the getting older.
