oh man I am stuffed

These words sum up my weekend perfectly. It was cram packed with food, food and fun. We mustn't forget the fun. Let me first start by saying that Thanksgiving dinner is my favorite meal of all time. Mostly it's just the turkey and cranberry sauce and the stuffing oh and the sweet potatoes and the potatoes and the gravy and we mustn't forget the rolls and pie. So Thursday was Thanksgiving #1 at Grandma Hilton's (Scott's Grandma's). Very very good food and great family togetherness. Come on big sigh for that one. Awwwww. Usually there are 45 at Grandma's for Thanksgiving so with only 18 this year it was might cozy. Seven of those were my family. Wow, I have a lot of kids. Moving right along. Friday Thanksgiving #2 at my parents house. My whole family was there minus Benjamin who had a cold. It was very very good food. I just wanted to personally thank Ryan for the very sinful sweet potatoes. Also my mom's stuffing was as good as always. Now after two dinners you would think our weekend would be complete. Oh no. Not so. Saturday my in-laws hosted a U of U vs. "that team down south" football party. It was an incredible game with a most unfortunate outcome. Moment of silence. Ok. I'm completely over it. It's just a game. We then went to see the movie Enchanted. Very cute movie. I would recommend it to a friend. I may buy it. Now that these weekend is done I think I will go let my pants out and head to the gym. Good times though, good times. Here are some of my favorite pics. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures on Friday.

cooking and climbing

There has been a lot going on at my house lately. Gabe really likes to explore the world around him. One of his favorite things to do is to empty my cupboards. He can't hurt any of it so I gave him a spoon to bang on the pots. I left the room and when I came back Bella had joined in the fun. She had gotten some more cooking tools for them to use and was making a full on meal. I love it when my kids pretend play. I especially love it when they do it together.

A couple of days ago I was working on my computer with my back to the kitchen. I heard a chair banging back and forth and took a minute to check who was banging the chair. When I finally turned around I saw that Gabe was standing on the chair. I automatically asked who had put him on the chair. Everyone denied it of course and I scolded all the kids about safety regarding Gabe. I then put Gabe on the floor only to watch him climb right back up on the chair. I apologized to my kids and got my camera. I am really in for a world of trouble.

may the force be with you

Here are some more of my favorite Halloween pics. We had many activites this year. Bella had a joy school party, the older kids had a parade at their school, all the kids went to the tae kwon do school for a party, and we went trick or treating. I think I need to take a nap. Side note: I am getting comments saying I did a good job with Gabe's costume. I did not make this one. I wish I had. I got it online. I made the jedi's with some major help from my friend Shalynn. My mom made Hayley's Leia costume. I can't take all the credit.
