Memorial Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend Highlights:
-Turner's Cabin for two days
-Rainy rainy rainy
-Scott went on a wildlife hunt with his camera, shot himself a couple of moose.
-Bella looooves to play with Lisa's dog Kobie (poor Kobie)
-Arts and crafts and puzzles. The cabin makes us crafty.
-ATV's+rain=good ridin'. No dust.
-Left over snow. Score.
-The hammock on the deck makes a great swing when it's raining out back.
-Bella also loves Meg. I can't believe Meg let her hold her.
-Jaden and Dallas cuddling. They love to cozy up and play nintendo.

-Gabe loves to throw rocks in the water. I am surprised he didn't fill up the whole pond with them.

-When it wasn't raining Bella was swinging.

On Monday we went up to Taintor's cabin. Despite the cool weather we had great visit with family and a super nummy dinner. I am glad we had a rope to keep Gabe out of the river. He was not fond of the rope.

Bella's pre-school graduation

Bella had a great year this year in Pre-school. She is definitely my most social child. She would have gone every day if we had let her. She made great friends and especially loved getting to know Collin Hiller. I am not sure if the feeling was mutual but he let Bella play with him anyway. The graduation was perfect. They sang their favorite songs, said what they wanted to be when they grew up, and showed a short video of the year. It was short and sweet which made it even better.

Mother's Day

My Mother's Day started with the smell of breakfast wafting from the kitchen. Scott and the kids made me a delicious breakfast of french toast with strawberries. Except for the fact that the recipe Scott found called for salt it was super. Church was great as I got the day off from primary and got to attend Relief Society.

On Mother's Day I like to have both of my mom's come over for dinner. That way we can see both of them without the juggling. With five kids of my own I try to keep the juggling down to a minimum. My mother-in-law made it a whole lot easier for me by making the main dish. She is lovely. We had a great dinner together and even got to enjoy a play put on by my kidlets. We also gathered around my computer and called Adam and Danielle in Wisconsin. It was a perfect mothers day. It didn't hurt that Scott and the kids got me an ipod touch. I am spoiled.
