On this day our twofer was a blessing/birthday combo. When getting ready for either event requires cleaning all day, food prep, and getting all the family together, it's nice to only have to do it once. Gabe didn't seem to mind sharing his day with Amelia. We waited for the blessing crowd to die down and did the usual presents and cake bit. This year Gabe wanted a Tole cake from his new favorite show Ni Hao Kilan. Before we switched to birthday mode he was playing dress-up with his cousin Elizabeth. He could not be persuaded to change so spend the whole of his party dressed as a bunny. A whole mess of dinosaurs, a Tole doll, and a giant set of Mr. Potato Heads were some of the favorites. Happy "Birthday Blessing Celebration" day to all.
