I gave Gabe some applesauce today. I usually let him feed himself but I he doesn't do very good with applesauce. After a few bites he wouldn't let me give him anymore. I thought he was done so stood up to take the bowl to the sink. He let me know right away he was not done. He wanted more but he wanted to do it himself. He's not very good at using the spoon yet but he still gave it a try. By the end he had resorted to using his hands. I guess you do what works.
